Amazon Valid Tracking Rate Suspension: Recovery Guide

Audit carrier selection, tracking uploads and first scans before answering an Amazon valid tracking rate performance action.

3 min read

Audit the affected shipments

Export the orders in the period shown by Amazon and record the tracking number, carrier selected in Seller Central, service level, upload time and first carrier scan. Compare this data with the carrier's own event history.

A shipment can fail validation because the number is wrong, the carrier code does not match, the upload was late, the carrier never scanned it or the integration overwrote the value.

Find the pattern by channel and carrier

Count each failure type so corrective actions address the dominant problem. Do not describe a carrier failure if the account selected the wrong carrier name.

  • Manual entry versus shipping software or API upload
  • Carrier and service combinations with repeated failures
  • Warehouse locations or shifts with missing confirmations
  • Replacement, freight or cross-border orders handled differently
  • Timing between label purchase, confirmation and physical scan

Correct the data flow

Fix carrier mappings, integration fields and confirmation timing. Test a small number of shipments and verify that tracking becomes recognized in the order record. Add a daily exception report for unrecognized or unscanned numbers.

Where the first scan is unreliable, agree on scan procedures with the carrier or use a service that produces a verifiable acceptance event.

Support the appeal with examples

Summarize the affected count, failure categories, completed configuration changes and monitoring owner. Include representative order records that show the old failure and corrected flow while protecting customer information.
