Capture the time, marketplace, ASIN, winning seller, price, condition and fulfillment method. Also record other offers. Featured Offer changes can reflect price, inventory, delivery or account performance and do not automatically show abuse.

Check whether the detail page itself changed. An offer-level issue and a catalog edit may occur together but need different evidence.

Build an offer timeline

Use consistent captures rather than isolated screenshots. A short timeline shows whether the event is temporary competition, repeat seller activity or coordinated catalog interference.

• Seller ID and profile URL for each suspicious offer
• First observed date, price changes and stock status
• Featured Offer position and fulfillment method
• Messages, customer complaints or returns tied to the seller
• Title, image, brand or variation changes observed at the same time

Test the product claim

When appropriate, conduct a controlled test buy from the identified seller. Preserve the full chain of custody and compare the unit with an authentic reference. Describe differences in condition, packaging or product rather than relying on the lower price as proof.
