Capture the offer before ordering

Record the marketplace, ASIN, seller display name, seller ID, price, condition, fulfillment method and estimated delivery. Save the offer list and order confirmation so the received unit can be connected to the seller actually selected at checkout.

When several sellers share an ASIN, recheck the seller shown on the final order. A Buy Box change between browsing and checkout can undermine the chain of custody.

Document delivery and unboxing continuously

Keep original photos and video with timestamps and metadata where available. Do not edit away details that establish the parcel or sequence.

• Outer parcel, shipping label and visible condition before opening
• Unbroken opening sequence showing all internal contents
• Product packaging, seals, serials, batch codes and inserts
• The complete unit, included accessories and manuals
• Order page and delivery record retained with the media files

Use a controlled comparison

Compare the test unit with a documented authentic reference of the same model and version. Photograph both under similar conditions and label each difference: packaging material, print, dimensions, components, serial validation or performance.

A packaging update or regional version may explain a difference. Check manufacturer and batch information before calling the unit counterfeit.

Build a concise report index

Lead with ASIN, seller ID, order number, purchase date and requested action. Reference the strongest exhibits in sequence and retain the physical item securely in case a follow-up requires more detail.
